Improve your English language skills through Social Media – follow Monty on Twitter and Facebook.

Believe it or not, your English language skills can actually be improved by participating in social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

Monty English has a facebook and Twitter page where you can regularly find help and advice with everyday general English skills. Of course, you can also interact with us here at Monty through these social media and we are always delighted to hear from you.

While Monty likes to increase its ever-growing following through Facebook and Twitter, what really matters is you as an individual. So if we can communicate with you directly through these media, it makes us doubly happy, as we get to know you a bit better.

I have spent the last couple of weeks trawling through Twitter on a daily basis, searching for those calling out for help with their English. Whenever I find someone wanting to improve their English skills, I invite them to follow Monty and try to offer any personal advice they may need with writing, speaking or understanding the language. Just now I clarified someone’s understanding of the phrase: a piece of cake; meaning to complete something easily.

Don’t get me wrong: there is a lot of ‘noise’ out there on Twitter, with even native speakers using English in ways which I have rarely seen before! However, Monty on Twitter, especially, can offer you highly tailored, individual bite-sized ‘fixes’ or responses to any English language skills you may want to improve.

Try it and see for yourself. : )
